At Mobile-Clays, we take pride in our fully qualified dedicated team of instructors committed to providing the highest standard of shooting tuition. Whether you’re a novice or a highly experienced shot, we can create a range of targets suitable for all abilities. Our instructors tailor lessons to meet your specific requirements, offering both ‘one to one’ tuition and group sessions. Our goal is to enhance your natural shooting ability, boost your confidence, and make your lessons relaxed and enjoyable. Everyone is welcome, regardless of experience, ability, and age. We recommend that children are 12 years or older when they start shooting, as it is a physically demanding sport. We have a variety of different targets and a range of club guns in different sizes to suit everyone.

Whether you’ve never held a gun before or would like to take up shooting as a more serious hobby, Mobile-Clays is the ideal place to get started. Our fully qualified professional instructors will ensure you have a relaxed, safe, friendly, and above all, enjoyable introduction to clay shooting.
We offer the perfect introduction to clay pigeon shooting in the form of our shooting experiences packages or ‘try clay shooting’. These sessions cost just £60 and are fully inclusive of 50 clays and cartridges, gun and equipment hire, and an instructor. We can offer these sessions to couples or groups, and they usually last about an hour.
Introductory lesson.
If you are new to the sport this is your first lesson, it is run to a standard framework set out by our governing body the CPSA. The lesson starts the second your instructor meets you; they will be asking you questions and gaining information which will help tailor the lesson. The first topic covered once you have been given your safety equipment is Gun Safety, etiquette, and a working knowledge of how a gun operates, equipment and gun fit. During the lesson we will teach you about stance, eye dominance, footwork, gun mounting and the CPSA method to hit a clay pigeon or ‘bird’. The lesson goal is to provide you with a solid foundation of shooting skills that you will be able to build upon and will stand you in good stead for the future. This lesson lasts just over the hr and is charged at £120 for an individual and includes clays and cartridges or £90 for two people or more.
Advanced lesson.
For those who have some experience and want more detailed instruction, our Individual Shooting Lessons are available. Clays and cartridges are additional and charged as used. As a general guide, a beginner may use approximately 25-50 clays and cartridges in an hour.

High driven – simulated game instruction.
We are very lucky at mobile-clays to share the site with one of the most prestigious partridge shoots in Gloucestershire, The Cold Aston shoot, and because of the deep valleys we can produce a realistic high pheasant or partridge target to help you get your eye in before the game season.
This lesson lasts approx. an hr and is charged at £120 or £90pp for two people or more. Cartridges are not included and can be supplied if you don’t bring your own.
